Hi everyone, hope you’ve had a great summer and that your cameras have been worked harder than your lawnmowers.
As we hurtle towards the start of our winter season on Thursday 10th September, the full programme up to year end is now possted on the website.
If you are interested in joining us and seeing what we are about, new members are more than welcome. please turn up on the night and you will be more than welcome. Usual start time 7:30pm at the St Thomas Community center on Chatsworth Road.
Our first meeting is a chance to catch up with familiar faces, welcome new ones, and reassure everyone that yes, we will still be talking about depth of field this year. We’ll run through the upcoming mix of speakers, competitions and workshops — all designed to keep you inspired, confused, or both.
Competition season kicks off with two PDI’s:
- 1st October – Open theme
- 5th November – People ( yes, actual humans — not dogs, cats, or your neighbour’s garden ornaments)
Then we finish the year with an Open print competition on 3rd December.
And of course, the N&EMPF Exhibition sneaks up on us as usual, with entries closing 11th October. You’ll notice two new categories — Scapes and Creative — perfect if you’ve been looking for an excuse to spend even more of your hard‑earned cash on entries.
