Chris Briddon
Relatively new to photography having bought my first proper camera in April 2019 (A Nikon D3500). Generally a random selection of pics but particularly keen on wildlife, landscapes and sports – so these will be more common. Also quite a few horse photos as my daughter has one so I have to spend a lot of time around them!

Born, brought up and lived in Chesterfield all his life, Brian is a lover of fine food, good wine and real ale. Oh – and a car fanatic, having owned a Morgan Sports car for the last 25 years.

Now retired and able to spend a bit more time on my favourite hobby, my main photographic interests are landscape and architecture – which I endeavour to pursue through travel.

I started to take a serious interest in photography when I retired in 2014 and I have been a member of the club since 2016. My main aim is to enjoy my photography while, at the same time, extending my skills through the guidance of fellow members, the challenge of competitions and the inspiration of visiting speakers.
